They are deluded to think we are any where near the top 4.We are light years away unless we start spending like the top 6.Which wont happen unless we are sold on to someone with more finances

I like having the two Dave's as our owners, they're not in the same league financially as the Russian crook, Arab billionaires or yank/Chinese consortiums but whatever people say they are genuine fans, shame they let Brady make a lot of the decisions as we're obviously nothing to her

Actually it's funny to say this about self made millionaires but I think they are deluded to think that they are on the verge of Top 4. We are several seasons away despite our valiant loss to the referee that is Mike Dean...

Seems we will just have to accept we will never be a top 6 club with our current owners The expectations that were set were false. Intellectual dishonesty or self-aggrandisement? Probably both :-(

I think they were right to move grounds IF Upton Park couldnt be worked with but theyve essentially bought the land of upton park, sold it and no rent a stadium with low rent and milk the profit without any operating liabilities.

However the clearly knew what the stadium would look like and have sold the fans, sorry customers a lemon

Social media - Gold is car crash stuff, reverts back to his 'we saved the club' answer when on the ropes. Only tweets after a win.

The best one recently was how most Americans are stupid, not considering the big money from TV is coming from the growth of the game in the us.

The fucking kids tweeting out club business is retarded even by west ham's standards

Brady and her distain for the supporters

Re: Do The Owners Realise They Should Be Hands Off....?
For me it's all about the ambition to be top 4 that DS speaks about regularly during close season then brings 10 players to the club most of whom are free transfers or loans. Top 4 clubs don't muck around with asking for loans or freebies.

Most top 4 clubs don't sign 4 strikers - Zaza on loan; Calleri on loan; Tore on loan and Ayew £20m. One goal between them at the half way stage. To me it doesn't matter that we tried for Bacca and Batshit and failed. It only matters because DS said he would sign a 20 goals a season striker and failed. That prompted him to take on Ayew at £20m because it was last chance saloon.

If DS really has the ambition then he should stop playing FM 17.

Stop the "Insider" and tips from junior Mk 1 & 2 bollocks.

Stop looking for bargain of the century in every player we want to sign.

Trust a professional Director of Football to spend the budget wisely so that the club can make progress rather than constantly fall short of the annual season ticket sales bullshit...

They have wrecked the club with this move to the Cesspit.... never ever spoke to so may people that have basically had enough... oh they will probably get replaced with day trippers etc but I never ever thought I would see the situation that is happening at the mo ... seems all very alien

So they had to move stadia because of Hillsborough?

Nope, not buying that.

Three things; Firstly, I already answered that. Secondly, if you don't know anyway then you really shouldn't be debating this on a football forum and thirdly it's been fun chatting here this afternoon Gentleman but I'm of to watch the team and won't be back.

Yes, jimbo2 from winning the league to not winning the league of many major trophies for years is most certainly progress.

Ten years prior to the move:

PL Winners 3 Runner Up 5
FA Cup Winners 3 Runner Up 1
CL Runner Up 1

Ten years since:

PL Runner Up 1
FA Cup Winners 2

Yep, proper progress for them that.

Re: Do The Owners Realise They Should Be Hands Off....?
Why do they have to charge 8% interest ?
Given the club is worth £650m I am sure we could refinance the debt with someone who doesn't love the club and just wants money for a lower rate.

Billy Blagg 4:19 Mon Jan 2
Re: Do The Owners Realise They Should Be Hands Off....?
You're doing something you accused me of earlier Johnson. Missing the point These clubs COULDN'T stay in their old homes as they had reduced their gate to comply with the exacting standards of the new world post-Hillsborough. All clubs who moved had to move to survive. You might look at Coventry and ask if it was worth it, but it doesn't alter a jot the reason it was done. Indeed Southampton did drop to League One - it's debatable as to whether or not they HAD too - but they are back now. I know there are fans there who reminisce about the Dell but most realise it was an impossibility to stay.

You can't say 'the FACT is they don't have the confidence is succeeding' unless you can read their minds. I can't either but, running a business for decades in the area they made their money, would seem to suggest the exact opposite, I'd suggest. I doubt DG and DS have had a days doubt in business in their lives.

Re: Do The Owners Realise They Should Be Hands Off....?
If David Gold loves the club so much, why is he prolific at lying to and mugging off fans via social media?

Surely he'd be too ashamed to peddle some of the absolute shit he does if his heart was in the right place?
